Highland Capital Partners

Corey Mulloy

Corey is a General Partner at Highland Capital Partners, which he joined in 1997. Corey is currently chairman of the board of Gigamon (IPO) and serves on the boards of CrowdSource, Entourage, Fidelis, Malwarebytes, Pharmaca and vArmour Networks. He also currently works with BAROnova, Hyperion (IPO) and Nebula. He’s a former director of AccentCare (acquired by Oak Hill Capital Partners), BAROnova, Hyperion (IPO) and YogaWorks (acquired by Great Hill Partners), and has been involved with BÂRRX (acquired by Covidien), Conor (IPO; acquired by Johnson & Johnson), Helicos (IPO), NextCard (IPO), NuGenesis Technologies (acquired by Waters Corporation), Pervasis (acquired by Shire), Talaria (acquired by Google), (merged with World Wide Technology), Turbine (acquired by Warner Bros.), and US Labs (acquired by LabCorp). Corey also worked at Robertson Stephens, ONI Systems (IPO; acquired by Ciena) and The Whitman Group.

Corey holds a B.A. from Swarthmore College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Corey is also a member of the Swarthmore College Investment Committee.


DFJ is a venture capital firm that was founded in 1985. DFJ has backed more than 400 companies in enterprise, software, mobile, cleantech, energy, health care, and other disruptive categories. DFJ’s team operates across the globe and specializes in many industries and geographies. DFJ works with companies in seed, early, and growth stages. The firm focuses on businesses with enormous market potential, with the role of helping entrepreneurs achieve their maximum potential through team building, partnerships, advice and support, as well as investments.

Andreas Stavropoulos

Managing Director

Andreas Stavropoulos serves on the boards of a number of private companies. He focuses primarily on software investments (consumer/internet and enterprise infrastructure), mobility, and technology-enabled services. Past investments include Epocrates (NASDAQ: ATHN) and acquisitions: Mobile 365 (Sybase), Centerpost (West Corp.), Everdream (Dell), Appstream (Symantec), and Vizu (Nielsen).

Andreas is a summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Harvard College in computer science. He also holds an MS degree in computer science from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar and graduated first in his class.
